iTUB partners with Grimsby Fish Market on reusable 660L bins

June 8, 2026

In May, iTUB and Grimsby Fish Dock Enterprises signed a rental agreement for iTUB 660L PE bins for ice use at Grimsby Fish Market. The talks started at Seafood Expo Global in Barcelona, where the teams met to look at the practical handling needs of the market. By the end of the month, the bins had arrived in Grimsby and were already in use on the market floor.

Grimsby Fish Market plays an important role in the UK seafood industry, and dependable handling equipment is part of getting through a busy day. Through the iTUB rental model, the market gets the bins it needs ready for daily operations, without having to invest in owning them, while still working with durable, reusable bins built for demanding seafood environments.

For us, this is the rental model working exactly as it should. From a first conversation in Barcelona to bins in daily use a few weeks later, with the team at Grimsby able to focus on the fish rather than the equipment.

The photos show Danny Payne from Grimsby Fish Dock Enterprises and Vilbergur Gestsson from iTUB on the day the bins arrived at Grimsby Fish Market.

We would like to thank the team at Grimsby Fish Market for the trust, and we look forward to supporting their daily operations season after season.
