iTUB Announces New Partnership with Skinney Þinganes Featuring Innovative 460L ECO Tubs

March 7, 2025

iTUB is excited to announce a strategic partnership with Skinney Þinganes, a leading Icelandic commercial fishing company with roots all the way back to 1946. This collaboration introduces our innovative 460L ECO tubs into their operations.

Key Features of the 460L ECO Tubs:

  • Lightweight Design: Weighs only 42 kg, facilitating easier handling and transport.
  • Durability: Built to last 12-15 years with robust construction.
  • Sustainability: Fully recyclable, supporting the circular economy with materials sourced from previously used iTUB products.

“We are thrilled to partner with Skinney Þinganes as we continue to push the boundaries of innovation and sustainability in the commercial fishing industry,” said Bragi Smith, Sales Director at iTUB. “This partnership not only reflects our commitment to environmental stewardship but also underscores the trust and reliability that industry leaders place in our products.”

Technical Specifications: The ECO tubs are constructed from high-quality PE plastic, designed to withstand the demanding conditions of commercial fishing while maintaining their integrity, even when repaired. This ensures that fish weight remains accurate, crucial for meeting industry standards and regulations.

Ásgeir Gunnarsson, Director of fisheries at Skinney Þinganes, stated, “The new ECO tubs from iTUB will help us to enhance our operations, providing both environmental and operational efficiencies that are critical in today’s market.”
